At ____ Institute for the Criminally Unrepentant, everybody is innocent and everybody knows it. The prison really exists as a home for people whose convictions were political rather than resulting from evidence, to save them from the real prisons, and both the staff and the inmates try to make the situation as pleasant as possible. You can't leave and technically have no rights but generally you can do whatever you want, most people "work from home" (and if your boss isn't ok with that there are services to help you find a new job), visiting hours are the maximum legally allowable and the complaint box about the guards is taken very seriously.

One day, a new prisoner arrives in your "cellblock" (really a hallway). Only... this one's a real, honest-to-god unrepentant serial killer. And you're his type. Somebody messed up...

A more amusing name would be "Antibodies versus Bodies", despite it being utterly wrong. Unless the human had some kind of autoimmune disease?

Which is probably an incredibly bad thing to base an adventure around.

You could make them think they were fighting viruses, and then right at the end....PLOT TWIST! You were the real disease all along.

Had an interesting dream, thought it would make a decent adventure.

A bunch of people are trapped in a hospital. Anyone who tries to leave is killed by black, laser (more like disintegration beam) wielding security cameras that no one remembers being installed. All calls to the outside are cut, trying to tamper with the cameras results in blasting, theres no cellphone signal and barely anybody gets along. The security systems let people INTO the hospital, but they can't get out. So these people are all stuck in this hospital in the middle of a city but they can't get the word out for help or to warn other people off, because anyone who gets near a window gets splattered. There is some hope though. One of the camera things is slowly melting itself by shooting a laser at a mirror for some reason and the refrigerators are mysteriously restocking themselves. There's some heavy equipment down in the basement meant for some sort of special surgery that could possibly be used to damage the security stuff. The flying drone that was guarding the rooftop helipad was hit by a car (???) and was destroyed. Unfortunately our only engineer (a swell guy who probably watches too much TV) was killed after being goaded by a jerk psychologist into trying to roll past the security cameras' line of sight in the hallway in the basement. The engineer made it all the way to the end, but was then killed by a hovering camera with a sniping beam. It had killed the psychologist waiting in front of the elevator first.

There's talk that the security stuff is alien in origin and must run on some sort of weird power source. Most everyone has conflicting personalities and there's a good deal of hostility. What will they do?
(The dream felt more like LOST in a hospital than like the forum adventure Superego)



There was another interesting dream where a Link-like hero type person, after saving the kingdom several times finds out that he is a demi-god and awakens his awesome demi-god powers which he uses to obliterate a couple more threats to the kingdom. Apparently his parents (who he never knew) were both tree deities (as in trees that are also gods). The perspective of the dream was that of one of the hero's friends who is concerned that the hero is a 'seed' and will eventually lose all sense of self and humanity as he turns into a tree.

Turns out that the reason people weren't coming back as themselves was because they invaded bodies in the 'dream' world. The people waking up in their bodies here are bewildered victims.
