Heaven or Hell
Rock!
Eddie>down, forward, heavy punch followed by throw 1 and then your air throw.
Eddie> forward, grab then throw. Anastasia most likely has cybernetic upgrades that affect her strength and durability, so just a straight up punching fight won't work that well. Your best bet would be to disable her then try and clarify, hopefully without giving Azure away/
Eddie > Use bag. Not content, bug Bag itself has a firs strike weapon. Cyber augment means she won't feel much the bruising, so your best best is either to straight jam articulations, or use her mass and lack of flexibility against her. Electric fist can be a double edged weapon. Anything metallic and large enough will do.
Eddie > start by verbal jousting... no actually not. This is not your best bet.
Start out fighting defensively, then don't hold back at the first opening you see.
>Grab both lids.Use one defensibly and the other offensively.
By the gods, Daletsky, I thought you were supposed to be smart. He followed you down this deserted alleyway fully aware of who and what you are, but he didn't know whether you knew your men were dead. Therefore, if he was responsible, he wouldn't have known whether you would be hostile and wouldn't have followed you unless he thought he could take you on. In the face of that, you should at least be a little bit cautious.
What's worse, you're completely isolated from your Cossack buddies, and what's even worse, you actually told him that. You're one of the most valuable pieces the Cossacks have on this gameboard, and you're alone against a potentially-superior combatant. This potentially-superior combatant is a friend of the Knights, and of course you had to pick a fight against a friend of the Knights while you're alone in Juncton with two Amazons nearby.
This is to say nothing of the diplomatic ramifications of openly attacking a neutral party with basically no evidence of wrongdoing. You're in Caper City at The Mayor's invitation, and he's going to hear of this. The Knights aren't going to like this, either, and it won't help your relations with the freelance community.
I mean, god damn it. If you think he's responsible, then deal with him on your terms, not his. Have some robots track him to his safehouse and then have him assassinated, or something.
>Nikolai: When you find out what happened, tell her not to do something so stupid ever again.
P.S. Please disregard all of the above if there's some reason you can attack him safely that I hadn't considered.
In spite of what Wimdit said, I don't think it's out of her character. She got where she is by fighting. And frankly, in spite of what SHE said, I don't think she sees Eddie as the sort to do any real slaughter--but she's not sure. A good fistfight will give her a good feel for his tactics, and all things considered, I don't think she'll come away thinking Eddie's a cold-blooded killer.
Granted, unless Eddie can think fast, I don't think she'll come away thinking he's innocent either, not with things lining up as they are.
On that note, did Jess mention her efforts to save that one Cossack? Probably not. That'd be useful info right about now. If only a certain someone hadn't run off without full intel.

Do the punching thing. Be the punching one.
Eddie > Spam Heavy Punch (aka The Button)
Eddie > Eddie at her
> Eddie: Robust!
The only constant is Chaos.

Finally caught up and wow this is amazing!
I'm way too cool to have a signature... wait a second...
So is the next update going to be in a new thread?
If it is, someone should post the link to the new thread here when they can.
She already made a mistake, she got angry. She’s mad at you, irrationally so, or else she wouldn’t have started this. Angry is good. When somebody fights angry their mind takes a backseat, and The Beast steps forwards. The Beast has a rather limited vocabulary: Rip, Smash, Break, Kill. You know it well. You know what it will do.
She’s adopted a defensive posture by instinct, The Beast won’t let that stand, but it gives you more time to prepare. You snatch the lids from the trashcans. You’ve worked with worse weapons.
One works to block her punch.
The other scrambles her brains for a few seconds. The Beast HATES that.
You press your advantage, keeping her stunned with some heavy jabs until you can set up a knockout blow.
Eddie: Nice try Daletsky, but this is over.
Anastasia:I wouldn’t say that.
By that look in her eyes, she's either about to electrocute you or she's gonna hit you pretty hard. Considering all you've been through, I think you could take either. Better not, though. Fall onto your back quickly and flip her over you.
Either fling her, or kick her. Whatever you do, you better do it fast!
Eddie, she's grabbing your arm right? DO THE FLAIL
>She is still a loot lighter. Sit on her, until she calms down
Fighting technique!!: With you arm stuck in her right hand and your left arm behind her right arm. The set up is good. Now since the attack is most likely coming from her left. Taking this into account, take a deep step to her right side and place your left hand behind her right elbow and push forward and towards the right of your current position. While you push with your left, pull her right hand in similar clockwise rotation. Make sure to use her elbow as a pivot to wrench her forward and away from Eddie's new position.
