Also, I might as well give the equipment list.
Jess has Rope, her toolkit, several knives and throwing weapons, her poisoners kit, and her Sword.

Cairo has his Sword, his Machine Pistol(With half a magazine of Armor Piercing ammo left, but plenty of normal ammo), and one small frag grenade.
Cairo's men are both carrying light machine guns, one of them has a grenade left too.

Guessing that the mech-bot is heavily armored, my suggestion would be to damage those x-beam scaffolding. . . Better to hit weak metal, and drop part of the structure on the bot, than to try to crack a tough nut.

Alternatively, if it is a piloted vehicle, then use the armor piercing ammo where the crew member should sit. . .

How small is the frag grenade? If Cairo could somehow focus down with his armor piercing ammo a single spot on the mech's body, preferably one of its knee joints, he could lob the frag grenade over to that spot to destroy one of its legs.

Have Cairo's boys send a quick dakka to the meat-guard, then try to draw fire from the robot to see what it's capable of. Try to find cover sturdier than some crates.
Jess works best when she knows what to expect, so if we want to send Jess against bigbot, we need to figure out what it can do.
Alternatively, Cairo fires AP round at the bot and Jess stays in cover. I'd say focus fire right below the shoulder guards. Hivemind likes to use misdirection, so I can imagine that they'd set up a cheap decoy head with neck servos to draw fire, or even feint deactivation.

Venice : Since I left the Lotus, I’ve made a few friends. One of them modified my sword, and I can use it to take out that robot, but I’ll need a few things first. First, I need you and your boys to throw some fire at it and keep it busy.

Yellowjacket: Primarily, get shot at. I saw lots of potential loadouts, Kensington thought it could be used for anything from riot suppression to mobile artillery, but the common trend was loads of armor. However, considering they could barely get it to stand up a few months ago, you’re probably dealing with a barebones model here. It’s heavily armored in the front, though there is a weak point in the upper back where the armor is thin to allow the communications equipment to get a good signal.
Jessica : Upper back, got it. What about weapons.
Yellowjacket: Those fists mainly, the plans I saw had an MG on the left arm and a heavy duty shotgun on the right, but I’m not sure if they ever found space. Jess, this thing is dangerous, don’t try anything crazy.

Throw a frag grenade at its legs to make it stumble, making sure that when it explodes, it coincides with you jumping down and stabbing the Ajax on the back of the neck.

Toss a grenade behind it. If it turns around to tank the blast, it'll be open to your and Cairo's attack, depending on how you feel.

Yellowjacket: The Green guy had it in his Briefcase. I didn’t feel too well after the fight, but Jess called about an Ajax which reminded me to grab the case, and then I opened it and remembered that somebody tried to kill me a couple minutes ago.
Eddie: Ah, post-battle shakes, I remember those.

Yellowjacket: Hivemind’s got a hefty bounty out on the capture of the guys who raided their convoy. Hivemind is a bigger player in the City right now, if we’re looking for brownie points, I’ll go for the private army thank you very much.
Poetsbane: We’ve got an army too…
Yellowjacket: You were getting out of my system. And don’t even TRY leaving any backdoors on your way out, I WILL find them.
Poetsbane: ...Fine, a helicopter will be by in a few minutes to pick my boys up. If you feel like making friends and earning some money, you can give them the Doctor. We’ll arrange pickup of Charles on your terms.

Johhny: Yellowjacket, is she gone?

Yellowjacket: I invited her in, and then told her to leave. If she isn’t, then she’ll be in breach of Quantumlaw.
Eddie: What’s that?
Yellowjacket: Something she really, really does NOT want to breach.
Johhny: Fair enough. We should make our decision about the prisoners before the Lotus gets back here. Yellowjacket, did the green man have anything else in his case?
Yellowjacket: Yeah, a couple worthless trinket and a notebook.
Eddie: Call it a hunch, but those trinkets are probably worth quite a bit to the right, for now, lets decide what to do about the prisoners the prisoners?
Johhny:And call Shady Pete. We need somebody to take care of these corpses, and find us a new hideout. This ones gone bad.
