What is there to learn? You already know about Cyberhounds; which means you know that, without physical access to their brains, they are unhackable. They receive no external input besides IFF designators, usually laser based. Agents employing them tend to use laser designators to “Paint” targets, sending the Hounds after them. The Agents themselves wear radio badges that transmit a complex radio code that prevent them from being identified as targets.
You suppose you could hack them, if you were a robotics expert who knew more than the basics concerning this sort of IFF system and robot AI’s. As it is you don’t think you can fake the badges or the designators, not without days, probably weeks, of work. And hacking the Hounds directly is impossible, not unless you can plug into their brains.

    Plan A:
-Get cars that look like the transport cars
-Hire goons to play the security personal
-Park the false transport one level under or over the real transport
-Prepare the level that it looks like the level whee the real transport waits
    -Hack the lift
-Johny delivers the fake flag to the real transport and the security men deliver the real flag to our transport

    Pro:
    -Its elegant
.-Low risk of detecting the switch
    Cons:
    -Costs

    Plan B:
-Jessica sneaks under the target car with a skateboard, while it waits in the garage
-During the transport she cuts a hole to the trunk and switches the flags
-She covers the hole as good as possible and leaves as soon as possible
    Pro:
    -Simple
    -Cheap
    Cons:
-Higher risk that the switch is detected

I like the first one. Reminds me of something from a movie. But yeah, cost is an issue...

...Could we modify B to be mid-transport? The security won't be as tight then.

    Re: Honor Amongst

Can Yellowjacket come up with a way to mess with the streetlights? like the transmitter things that ambulances and police cars have. if so then here's plan C
First, we get the plan for the route they are going to go. once they approach the target zone, Yellowjacket is going to start a huge traffic jam Johnny can pull up behind the caravan in the Van and once the caravan slows to a stop inside the traffic jam Jessica can make the switch. during the switch, Johnny can distract the guard with small talk due to the traffic jam.
    Pros
    Discrete
    Cheap
    Relatively Easy
    Cons
If we're caught then there's no easy exit
    Not very Stylish

C is awesome, and the chances of being detected are pretty low.
The REAL limitation is that a cop will be at the scene and begin trafficking by hand, not very good for us.

    Re: Honor Amongst

What if we hack the IFF badge for the guards while we're at it? Have YJ hack in their database or something, and make the dogs' top priority targets the ones in badges. Then we can sow some chaos.

I think we should go with plan A, with added hack so that the flag-bearers get the wrong (our) floor, and the sec guards still waiting on the other floor... where we get the fake flag.
I'm tempted to slip an explosive somewhere in that plan, maybe an EMP bomb YJ could make, on the fake flag/security's vehicles while we make the flagswipe.

Yellowjacket: So, how are we going to do this? Intercept the handoff. Maybe replace the driver?
Johhny: No, then we’d have to replace the entire crew, and do so without anybody else noticing. We don’t have time for anything elaborate, let’s keep this simple and play to our strengths, Jess, can you pick a lock quickly and open a trunk quietly?
Jessica : Yeah, but they’ll notice unless they’re distracted, and it won’t work if the car is moving.
Johhny: That’s no problem, Yellowjacket, how are you with traffic lights? C
Yellowjacket: I can get to them. What do you have in mind?
Johhny: Something either genius or very, very stupid…

You are now, once again, the mysterious Fourth Thief.

You know what, screw this “Fourth Thief” nonsense. You don’t have time for it, besides, you’ve got a perfectly good name, and you’re not sure why you’re the “Fourth” Thief anway! Who are the other three? Why are you Fourth? You’re a busy man, let’s just get to the point.

You are Edward Marcus Greensbury, otherwise known as Emerald Eddie. You are a Virtuoso of Violence, your Passion is Pugilism, your Garb is Green.
A while back, you and your Crew were hired to steal a valuable item. You got your hands on it, but the people who hired you double crossed you, in a big way.
They did…something that dropped your crew. You don’t know what. It didn’t drop you, but it hurt like hell. Then they were gone, you guess you passed out and they slipped away. Since then you’ve been using what information you had on these guys, tracking them down and asking them some questions. Then asking those same questions louder, and with your fists. Your last little visit gave you enough info to piece out where they’re going to be next. You intend to be there too.
Right now, it’s just a matter of which favors to bring to the party. You can bring Four weapons, it should be noted that the Heavy Machine Gun is big enough to take up a space worth three weapon, plus it’s basically impossible to conceal in any way. Also you tend to go through melee weapons pretty quickly, so you like to bring backups. Right now you’ve got a Baseball Bat, a Tire Iron, a Golf Club and a Nightstick.
The Pump Action Shotgun gets more shots before reloading, but you can use the Double Barreled shotgun one-handed, and you can do a good deal with an empty hand.

    Re: Honor Amongst

Take the DBZ (double barreled zhotgun. Maybe it shoots zupdogs?), PAS and two melee weapons. I'd say BB and TI.

    Re: Honor Amongst

Oh man. Didn't really realize he wore a bowtie.

If you know where they're going to be next, we should probably choose our weapons according to the location. If its some sort of complex or apartment-ish area like last time, let's go with the Double Barreled Shotgun, the Baseball Bat, Tire Iron, and Nightstick. Or if we're going to an area with a lot of space, like an auditorium, get the Heavy Machine Gun and the Pump Action Shotgun.

    Re: Honor Amongst

Oh come on. It's SO obvious. Take the pump action shotgun and THREE golf clubs. That way we can go in with a caddy bag strapped to our back and be like "Hmm... I think I'll use the 9 iron for this shot."

  13. #838

    Re: Honor Amongst

Yeah! That's awesome! But I still think you should bring the DB shotgun.

    Re: Honor Amongst

Go all out melee, no guns. That's just the kind of guy you are.

SOME PEOPLE CALLED HIM THE MAGICAL WIZARDY OF SOPHICATED HATRED, BUT OTHER JUST CALLED HIM BY HIS MAIDEN NAME, FAWKES. FAWKES WAS FEELING PARTICULARY HATEFUL TODAY AS HE ADJUSTS HSI MONICLE AND TAKES A GREAT GULP OF MS. GLUBBERY'S [lemon juice].

You wish you could, that’s what those bastards hired you to steal before they double crossed you, took out your crew, and took the Sapphire for themselves.

You can club people with just about anything. However, a Shotgun isn’t the most effective weapon for clubbing people. Plus, you have a habit of breaking the things you hit people with, and the people you hit with them, so generally you like to stick to easily-replaceable melee weapons, or your fists.

You decide to go with the Double Barreled Shotgun and three golf clubs. Perhaps not the most effective loadout, but it will certainly be fun. And this is about revenge, you want to have fun.
Of course, if you’re going to go golfing, you’ll need a different hat…

The location is an intersection, specifically the intersection between Terron and Sonnet. You’re not sure what’s going to happen there, but you certainly intend to be there when it does. You park your truck in a lot about a block away and head over.

You don’t see anything that unusual, there’s a traffic jam, which is a little odd for this time of night, but it’s nothing to write home about.
The only thing of interest that you see is an unmarked, but clearly armored van stuck in the traffic. It looks like a cop is hassling the people in the car behind it. He’s probably trying to break up the jam by getting them to take a different route. The cop is an idiot, that car is obviously part of a convoy, no way in hell he’ll get them to peel off. In fact, you’re kind of surprised he hasn’t given up yet.

Oh hell. He has multiple hats.

Obviously there's nothing else here to be interested about. No sirree. Bet you won't even see any of these schmucks again any time soon. How about you head to a cafe for a nice cup of coffee? It would certainly be more interesting then standing around here talking to people. As if they'd have anything interesting to say.
