    grnr's diagram looks right to me based on the info given, but yeah, Dave said his planet comes after Rose's, in spite of how the planets are arranged on the Flash page.

    It would also help clarify to show one path first, then all of them together.



    All together, if the paths are adhered to very strictly.

    I would just like to share how delighted I am to see that the crows in the apartment safely made the transition to the medium. I'm not sure what they'll accomplish but I hope it's amusing!

    D'oh, I forgot to have the seventh gate lead to Jade's planet.

    Does that mean John fights Jade's Denizen?

    gC said that the palace on LOWAS was of John's Denizen, and that the seventh gate above John's house leads to John's Denizen. That jives with Andrew's diagram, and would mean that Rose will be the one fighting the Denizen on LOWAS.

    I'm seriously considering just not reopening it.

    It's much more relaxing doing it this way, not having to pore through hundreds of suggestions and force some silly stuff to work. That's actually kind of time consuming, and at this stage of the story, barely adds anything to positive to the process.

    I read these threads and add tons of ideas anyway, whether they're voiced as actual hopes for a story direction, or just speculation about it. Serves the same purpose. More so in fact, because people's ideas aren't handcuffed by command format.

    Okay, I drew my own map which makes things almost crystal clear for me. This would be only John's prescribed path.



    So it looks like John will actually be fighting Jade's denizen, unless the 7th gate above Jade's planet leads to the center of his world. And that might not be the case because it would be a shame for him not to explore her planet surface.

    I guess, my last bit of confusion would be: what if John, while on Rose's planet, comes across what ought to be her second gate? He'll drop out of Dave's second gate. There's all sorts of opportunities for skipping gates and going through the wrong ones or going through them out of order. I'm thinking that there's some sort of benefit for going through the gates more or less in order.

    Edit: beaten like twenty times. But my map is elegant, I think!

    I assumed that was the way the planets were actually arranged: in a clockwise order starting from the 6 O'clock position, John, Rose, Dave, Jade.

    That, or the Incipisphere "fills in" and positions the planets so that they're equidistant from each-other. It almost looked a little more like that during the "[S] Jack: Ascend" update. LOWAS could be at the 6 O'clock position, LOLAR could be at the 10 O'clock position, and LOHAC could be at the 2 O'clock position. Maybe?

    I can't imagine how crowded Incipisphere was during the trolls session.

    Only if the path is strictly adhered to. And it's not really Word of God on the matter. Anyone could draw the conclusion by following the logical progression implied by gate-connectivity.

    But we've already seen how strictly they've adhered to the rules so far.

    But...if the natural order of going through gates at the right time is followed, most of the kids won't end up meeting eachother. D: And at this point it's looking pretty likely that Rose will be asleep for the duration of John's visit. D: D: D:!

    Something tells me that Dave's code is John's equivalent of the timetables. A minipiano with the power to bring things back to life or something?

    ...I'm not sure how I feel about this. The interactivity of this comic is really cool and unique and creates a lot of little jokes you might not have made otherwise, but... you are the author. You can do what you want and many of us, including me, would keep reading happily.

    Hm. Pros and cons. I dunno.

    Rose and John will need to build up to the next gate together, so it's unlikely he and Dave will just be able to do it on their own. I'm sure something will happen to ensure it if needed.

    Also I am perfectly okay with the absence of the suggestion boxes. They really couldn't add much to the story without turning it into a crazy haphazard mess.

    There's nothing we've seen yet stopping everyone from halting their own progression at, say, Jade's Planet and then progressing together, fighting each Denizen together, one after the other.

    Well there is that whole time limit with the reckoning thing and all. And the fact that said time limit is probably a tenth of what it normally should be or so.

    Especially considering everyone can now have jetpacks and return gates mean backtracking is possible.

    if we look at the incipisphere's arrangement, it seems when the veil comes crashing down on skaia, they'll also damage each of the kid's planets on its way, possibly endangering the kids and anything on the planets. Shit gets even more feisty when the meteors start going through the gates (and killing a denizen if lucky?)
