So, i've been meaning to make an attempt at one of these for a while, but just now was really inspired. ill do my bet to convey the idea i have and how far i am, as well as update this post as i add in my ideas.
some base things to keep in mind are that during the crazy-awesome fast-paced chiptune music interludes and the chorus, it would feature fast moving animations of the kids/trolls/exiles (trying to keep the intermission scenes out of this, it just doesn't quite fit for me), as well as well-times insertions of terezi's 4 danceparty animations. this includes the intro, especially when it really kicks in, flipping through images and animations of crazy shit the characters are doing.
heres what i have so far:
Cuz we all spend half our time <--fast-paced antics
Running around, <--john flipping the fuck out about something
fucked out of our minds <--continue antics
And we spend the other half
Sleeping at desks and praying just to get back... <--(idk what to do for the praying just to get back)
(music=antics)
Don't you?
Don't you want to be famous?
Buy things like you don't even care <---(after this line, it would be perfect for it to be flipping through the following 4 shots, cause the music right after this line is perfect for showing a few epic shots with fades to black in between them)
Don't you?
Don't you want to be famous?
And everywhere you go
have
every-
-body
stop
and stare
But no...
You go
nowhere
Cuz we all spend half our time <--(more antics, hopefully more trolls than the kids)
Running around,
fucked out of
our minds
And we spend the other half
Sleeping at desks
and praying just to get back...
(during the guitar solo, among the antics, have clips of jade/jadebot playing the advanced bass http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=002926 and somewhere a clip of john doing the air guitar during the con-air re-enactment)
Don't you?
Don't you want to know things?
Secrets
of the head
and the
heart?
Don't you?
Don't you want to know things?
With every word you say,
be tearing
peoples
worlds
apart
But no...
You say no way
No time, don't start
We all spend half our time
Running around,
fucked out of our minds
And we spend the other half
Sleeping at desks and

We all spend half our time

And we spend the other half
Sleeping at desks and

Just to get back...
Don't you wanna get back?

heres what i have so far:
Drink up, so you won't have to think no more. <---(this could also be just about any of the drink something--->BLUHH!!! scenes, with 'drink up' as the drinking, and 'so you dont...no more' as the BLUHH!!! with it zooming in on it at 'drink-no-more'

Don't you?
Don't you want to know things?
With every word you say, be tearing peoples worlds apart <---(same concept as above but with Rose, looking for answers in the puzzles earlier on, and then by tearing stuff up, and when they say the stuff about tearing worlds apart, destroying the turtle palace thing)

What you have so far is pretty awesome. I would love to collab with you on this
Are you guys familiar with this thread?
It stemmed from the Draw a cat with your Eyes Closed thread, and would have progressed identically had a few artists not decided to "improve" the scribbly drawings.
One thing lead to another, and I ended up compiling a few of the mutations into this video.

Warnin': kinda graphic.
I am so sorry.
I thought I saw this a few weeks ago. When did you complete it? And yeah some of those are pretty horrific.
Later: There are some weird things under "MSPA" and "Homestuck" on YouTube. What is this about for example?

Honest-to-god, I thought that was KawaiiMelon's actual avatar.

Most of the MSPlayers got treated to this earlier today privately, but I have gotten permission from all the artists/musicians I borrowed material from before public posting of this. Thanks to Kazerad, Radiation, and MightyMoose for their unknowing contributions to these videos (which are mostly slideshow with me voice acting over music). People who have been around a while will recognize the comic from a while ago when they circulated on the forums.
Chapter One:
Chapter Two:
Chapter Three:
(Sorry, there's no other chapters, and Kazerad probably won't be adding any more.)

Yeah, that guy who is not Toby posted in the Fan-Music thread a few days ago.
I think Toby also gave him the MIDI's for some of his songs, so expect better versions of that and Atomic Emprye maybe.

I found out there is already a Let's Play of Alterniabound. (I would have found it earlier but none of the videos are tagged "MSPA" or "Homestuck", which are the only two ongoing Youtube searches I had at the time.) Part 1Part 2Part 3Part 4Part 5

There are a few reaction vids around for [S] Jade: Wake up., but I have only found one full-length one:
I love the way he is both trying to get away from it and trying to keep watching at the same time. OTOH, it's definitely more distressing than destressing to watch, for me.
