Still a huge Dexter and Breaking Bad fan, started watching Sons of Anarchy and I'm gonna see what all the hubbub about Mad Men is pretty soon

The shows I take interest in are Leverage and The Daily Show.
There are a bunch that I'll watch if they come up, but those are the only two that I bother to follow seriously anymore.
Arrested Development. Also, from what I've seen, the new Futurama is hit and miss, just like the old Futurama. When it does hit, it's brilliant.
I have to admit that my favorite show that's still running is Chuck.
I don't really watch American shows, hell I don't even watch TV much any more apart from the occasional Grand Designs and maths/science documentary, but I just gotta say;
How I met your mother is one of my all-time favourite shows.
So much.

Popty ping, moron!
The newest episode of Venture Brothers wasn't super great, but it was still quite good.
I am looking forward to the Tim and Eric Chrimbus Special
Jesus Fucking Christ I cannot stand Tim and Eric. Tom goes to the Mayor was the extent of my tolerance for these assholes. Jesus. I don't know what it is but seriously just watching this has driven me nearly mad with rage. I UNDERSTAND that they are supposed to be (or are) comic geniuses. But. Ugh. My tolerance for faux-terrible behavior and style only goes so far. To clarify: I get that they're really funny and a lot of people like them. I think they're disgusting. That's my personal opinion and not worth flaming for, and I apologize for even bringing it up, but seriously, my hatred for them is basically so intense that I can't not say something. That whole style/attitude that Adult Swim has cultivated of low, cheap, intentionally terrible humor pisses me off. I honestly can't watch adult swim any more.
AWWWW YEAH NEW GENNDY TARTAKOVSKY SHOW
Looks like an homage to old sentai shows like Power Rangers and Voltron. The animation and art style look great, as usual. Definitely gonna check this one out.
It has an old-school charm, I'll give you that.
Cartoon Network has been little other than trash and disappointment in recent years, hopefully more shows like that will help them get back to their roots.
i fucking love Tim and Eric. I admit a few of their episodes are gross but they are brilliant. the Awesome Show was the funniest show on television. like just remembering what was in that video is making me laugh again
"Chrimbus" pffaaahaha
oddly i didn't really love Tom Goes To The Mayor
I also can't stand the 'humor' of Tim + Eric, and its especially annoying for me since one of the assholes has the same name as me.
man i can't believe that anyone doesn't like the awesome show
I tried watching a couple of Tim & Eric after reading a Wired article about how awesome these guys are but the show was too disturbing for my taste.
On the topic of Futurama, I just started watching the new episode. I marathon through all 4 movies and most of the old episodes because of my relatives (also, thanks you netflix). Freaking love this show. Love how this show is gut-busting funny and contains poignant moment between Fry and Lela. Some of late 90s/early 2000s references that are in the old episodes are funnier because how out-of-date they feel now. Stuff like Roseanne, Hanson, and Napster feel terribly far away.
I'm going to start watching Twin Peaks whenever it gets into the library, I heard it was kind of like the X-Files (which I really liked). Although, I was also told it was complete mindscrew. Has anybody else watched it?/Could tell me if it's good or not?
Twin Peaks is phenomenal. It's also nothing like X-Files, really. But it is like a lot of other shows made after Twin Peaks, because Twin Peaks was a very, very strong influence on late-90s/2000s era television. Hell, it's still a strong influence.
But seriously, pretty goddamn good. Ray Wise in particular nails it outta the park. He needs to be in more television (he was great in Reaper. Really.)
It'll probably last a season and be mercilessly (or mercifully, depending on its quality) axed in June.
I just watched Chuck and The Event.
I felt that The Event was pretty standard right up until the last ten minutes. It starts getting interesting right around the "Room Key" scene.
Chuck is still my favorite show. Last year, the premiere featured a bunch of The Big Lebowski references. This year, there is a subplot about a Repo Man. The actual actor, who played the Repo Man, in Repo Man. Two of my favorite movies. I love this show.
Goddamnit I can't watch the new Chuck on Hulu.
It just won't fuckin' load no matter what I try. The other episodes work fine, so it's obviously not my computer...
I remember watching the first season of Chuck and thought that the guy was too whiny. He have a vast knowledge of secrets in his head and became almost a secret agent himself. As a geek, he should be ecstatic. So I gave up on the show.
Afterward, I keep hearing that Chuck become more kickass after season 1. Sounds like I got off the boat too early.
