RESERVING this spot for a post within the next 6 hours of Tales of the Undercity in my Text-based style.

Edit: Ok, here goes nothing. Or, rather, here goes everything. It's time for one of the Tales of the Undercity updates as done in the style that I use for SPERB: PersonaStuck.

    ==>

You are now Doctor Fenton. As you walk up onto the deck in silence, Ariadna follows suit. You look around, but De Groot, the Captain of this ship, is nowhere to be found.

Ariadna: He's probably gone down to give orders to the engine crews.

You look out from the right-hand side of the ship, trying to find the orb Ariadna was on about.

Fenton: Hmm. There's some unusual weather patterns, but apart from that, I don't see anything remarkable
Ariadna: Port is on the left, not the right.
    Fenton: Oh.

You had almost forgot that the left-hand side of the ship was the port-hand side for a minute there, but now you remember after Ariadna reminded you. You then looks over from the left-hand side of the ship, and spot the orb of water which is floating in the air.

Fenton: OH. Yes, I think I see the problem. That's a giant glowing ball of water there.
    Ariadna: Indeed.

There was a pause as Aridna took another bite of her sandwitch.

Fenton: I don't really know what that means.
    Ariadna: Neither do I.
Fenton: I mean, well... I do have some ideas, but... Well, this should be underwater. That was how I found it, after all.
Ariadna: Wait, could you tell me why you are here again?

You don't want to explain all of it to her, but thankfully Ariadna only wants the short version. So you explain to her that you believe it may be part of a translocation network. To understand them, one must first know about the City's canal system, including where it originates: the Department of Water, Desalinization and Fish. Ariadna asks about what a translocation network is, but you tell her that you are getting to that part. You then tell her of the Occluded Pane, an engraved window which saltwater and fish continually pour through at hundreds of tons an hour which was found in the trove of the dragon Selmurande. You also explain that it was activated by accident, and ever since then, no-one has ever managed to turn it off, although everyone who works at the Department believe that the water and fish is being made out of thin air. You, on the other hand, don't believe this, due to the principle of conservation of mass, so you desided that it's possible that the water is coming from somewhere, and after just over a year of study, you narrowed the area down to the area which the ship is now in.

Ariadna: And then you went and hired us to come and look for this... what, window?
Fenton: A kind of portal, yes. I was charting the unusual disturbances in the currents which might indicate displacement below the surface. I wasn't expecting... something like this.

You indicate the orb by waving your hand in its direction.

Ariadna: And why do you think it's doing this?
Fenton: Well, there are two possibilities. Either it does this all the time, and therefore no-one has noticed it beforehand, or it may be reacting to us searching for it.
Ariadna:I don't really like the sound of that...
Fenton: Well, see if you can get those cannons ready, could you?

SPERB: Personastuck done in the style of Landlost, my text adventure. One of the more meta scenes, so it should go well. All dialogue is unedited.

You peer over the side and see that the tracks seem to go on forever into the darkness. Are you in space or something? Because being stranded alone forever in space definitely wasn't on your list of priorities today.

You hear a slight shuffling sound, and turn around to see two people sitting on the other side of the car, a round table with one man sitting off to the right of the centre, and a small lady you can't quite make out to the left of the centre. You don't recognise either of them, until the man to the right starts talking. He's wearing a mask, with no eyes, a large, hooked nose, and two absolutely enormous lips. It's kind of off-putting.

"Welcome, Krista, to the Velvet Room. I must say, it's been far too long since I last had a visitor. My name is Ig..."

He stops for a second, before pulling off the mask he's wearing and casually throwing it away.

"Nah, I'm not going to pull that charade on you. I am Andrew Hussie, and I am your Maker.

Dramatic emphasis on that last word. That's probably important. And with the mask off, you get a good look at him. He's got a normal nose and hair at least, but what's off putting is the fact that his eyes are completely white, and he's got no mouth. You're not sure what puts you off more, the huge lips or the lack of them. Well, there's the fact that his skin is orange for some reason. You're not quite sure what's up with that.

"Well, I'm not the person who made you, some Thief of Space did that instead, and delegated me to the role of your guide. Although he has his reasons.

You suddenly understand jack shit. He keeps going.

"Anyway, I have to warn you, your life will change when you Enter.

More dramatic emphasis. What's Entering supposed to be again? He continues without explaining.

"However, my lips are sealed on how and why."

You don't have lips why don't you have lips

"Anyway, the nice young lady you see next to me is dear Ms. Paint."

His tone is a bit more affectionate, and he gestures towards the woman next to him, who smiles and waves, letting you get a better look at her. She's wearing a pink hood and a brightly coloured dress, and you can't help but notice the fact that instead of skin, she seems to have a hard white shell and black eyes for some reason. She decides to greet you.

"I am so glad to see you here Krista. I'll be helping my dear old Hussie out here."

The Hussie guy starts talking again.

"You flatter me, Ms. Paint. Anyway, I wish you all the best of luck tonight. You'll be needing it."

"As for the other people you will meet, I may have killed them off in another timeline, but the Thief of Space told them to leave them be.

He sounds very proud about the first part, and very disappointed at the second part. This does not bode well for you.

"We'll see you once you've Ascended...

The dream begins to fade away into darkness.

Your chumhandle is tracedSparks and you have no idea why you even have a chumhandle, as you have no chums who use Pesterchum.
You also have a text adventure that is always open to commands, LandLost.

Oi! This is super rude and against the spirit of the thread. The point of this thread is giving, and not receiving! Wait a little bit before making a new post. Don't do it for the sake of "More fanart for me!!!".

Not to mention that you don't like text replies, yet you did one.
I say you shall skip this turn, and it is Spark's turn to be fanarted again.

Well, as you clearly stated that, therefore my old post is now null and voided. So I removed it... but then I caused this to crash. Derp. Remind me not to do that again.

Well, it was somewhat my intention to get some, but still, even if it wasn't, the owner's (That is, your) decision is final.

Anyway Solaris, have a bit of extra time on me for my grave blunder.

    Re: His Scene, Her Style

No, I am sorry, this is Very Rude.

First of all, it is very rude for you to just post Right After someone else posted for you.
It is arguably even worse that you did it after someone followed you with a text command than if you did it after an art and then again!
Second of all, you are being a hypocrite. You dismiss Sparks' update because you wanted Artwork, but all you have been doing is posting text replies yourself!
What makes Sparks' text replies less important than yours? Is it that you had the bright idea of going into the Fan-art thread and saying
Quote Originally Posted by ah2190 View Post

If that is the case, then I would like to know how one would go about doing so - not that I intend to do so, for a while at least. But if that's not the case... well, at least I would know that it's not the case. Either way, I'll just leave this here for people to think about.
Third of all, you just don't seem to get it. Just because you aren't requiring Fan-Art doesn't mean you aren't being needy about it! Right now, in the fan-art thread, there are three or so posts that reply to your headcanon comment with literal head cannons. Does that not tell you something? Or do you really go "Darn, that isn't what I meant! Why can't they do what I want them to!"
Fourth of all, that's the deal here. People just won't do what you want them to. I don't know you, or your life, or your upbringing, but I doubt that you are going to garner fan-art with the words that you have said. I realize that this is probably the first time that you've been in a community like this or something, but this attitude will not get you fan-art. It is unlikely that any request for fan-art is going to do much more than make you look sort of like a tool.
As SleepingOrange said, please don't be That Guy. I don't want you to be That Guy Who Just Asks For Fanart. I don't want anyone to be That Guy. But if you are going to come here and post all about how you want Artwork, I just don't think that you are going to be taken seriously at all.
In my humble opinion you need to look at what you are saying and how people are re-acting, and you need to adjust accordingly.

Without further ado SPERB in the style of Catche All Text Adventure.

You look and find a man sitting upon a seat. He is poised and waiting for something though you do not know what exactly.
You do not have long to ponder either as a voice calls out to him, stirring him from his reverie.
    "Sir! The guests are arriving"

At once the man's whole demeanor shifts, stirring awake as one would from a dream. He speaks: Not anything long nor
drawn out; only two uttered words that fill you simultaneously with excited anticipation, and the coldest of dread.
    "It. Begins."

I'd take a turn now, but I don't follow any of Dal's adventures and I'm not sure any of my styles are compatible.

Really? Nothing for this long? Let's fix this.

Witch as No More Eros with a bit of Pirates vs. Ninjas thrown in.

    >Begin

You are a witch. Or at least, you're going to be. You are standing outside of a cottage belonging to your new teacher. The landscape around you is green and verdant, grassy, rolling hills with mountains looming far far away, purple in the rising sun. The clouds spin over the rippling grasses as the wind toussels the soft blades of grass and the fluffy wool of sheep. It would be picturesque, were it not for the far-away cursing of a shepherd.

Slightly to the east and rimward is a dark forest, large trees rising from the horizon. The leaves rattle, a susurration that can be heard even over here. Really, trees are rather dreadful at being quiet and ominous.

You're supposed to knock, but the door is open... What do you do?
