I only just read this far in LB, I felt this panel was just right for a reimagining!

Great, an adventure I finally know...and nobody has reserved...

I...guess I decided to go with one of the first panels...and none of the awesome ones either.

I should participate in this topic more often. It's the next most productive thing to actually updating my MSPAs.

Okay, I just counted. I've gotten three pictures of Tetris and three of Hydrogen, but not one of You Are Here. Just as a matter of curiosity, is there a reason for this?

Because the idea of giving a different style to something absurdly simplistic and ubiquitous is more fun than the idea of giving a different style to something with some actual artistic skill involved, perhaps. I know that I've been unable to bring myself to draw for The Open Canvas simply because it was so skillful and it would be too hard to even approximate that.

I think it's because of the overhead style thing. Maybe also that your characters have no body.. but as I recall, I think you described the surrounding pretty well, so it shouldn't be terribly hard.. I guess it just seems like a daunting task. Or something.

    I don't know, I guess I'm just rambling now.
To get to the point, I think it's because the other two are easier to draw. Perhaps?

You captured the spirit of the scene, thus I have no complaints. It'd be boring if everyone drew the same panels!
Saying that, I can't help but wonder if people would be put off attempting the so-called "awesome" scenes... [/arrogance]

I'm going to keep coming back to this and drawing for people that I haven't before, I just want to see people's versions of their favourite scenes! Be creative, that's what the thread is for! =D

Warrick Anderson and the Skeleton Wizard seemed relatively simple to put together decent sprites for. Had to poorly edit in a bow tie myself, though.

I'm tempted to reserve a spot, but none of my adventures are similar enough in style to Kindness Quest to warrant a go.

Dude, I don't know how to make this clear. You are not professional material. Practically nobody is.

You are, however, the best artist I have seen on these entire forums. Better than Andrew himself.

You obviously have not seen his graphic novel.

This was quite fun to draw! I couldn't find any colour reference so I made up my own, albeit hastily and messily. I can always put up the lineart alone if you'd prefer.

The effort I put into this is possibly testament to how much I like your adventure, Malky.
I had to do this after I realised the other piece of "fan art" I did did not actually depict any of the main characters...

.. sorry? It looks weird, ahah. I didn't even draw stick-feet and arms. :c
Her name is Marie and I understand, I enjoy drawing her too =P
As for the whole stick-limbs thing, the point is it's your style, you can draw the scene however you like. Take a look at the one I did for Fantasy Hero. It looks nothing like the original!
I should also mention that I like it, it's cute!
