Musescore is supposed to work on Linux... I think. http://musescore.org/
EDIT: Ninjas.
@ Geekthras: Here's where I got it: http://www.mspaforums.com/showthread...nd-DESCEND-too
Look in the OP under Vivus and you'll find it.
I use NoteWorthy myself, 'though it's very basic, and not very user-friendly.

Could I possibly get Liquid Negrosity music? Someone posted a link to a .pdf but it no longer works...
I've mirrored a Liquid Negrocity someone (I haven't looked it up and there was no name in the file) posted in this thread earlier. Again, I hope the OP doesn't mind me doing this and I'll take it down if need be.
In fact, if anyone wants me to mirror sheet music or something MSPA-related in the future on my site, then I'd be happy to do so. Just to get rid of those damn RapidShare/MegaUpload/etc links.... D:<
Thank you all for recommending MuseScore; it's a pretty nice piece of software, and thanks for the epic link Kaz.
I've got all the piano up to the arpeggios around 1:40 in written out pretty accurately, except that I put it in 6/8 instead of 12/8...
Enjoy!
(Miff: feel free to mirror that)

No problem. I can't figure out what exactly the glissandos are, so just play something D minor-ish I guess? Other than that, I think that's everything. Are there any other big requests people want? I'm tempted to try to figure out some of the things from Alternia, like Walls Covered in Blood or something (was that made in Mario Paint? It sure sounds like it)

Showdown.
Ceci n'est pas une signature.
I'll go ahead and start working on Keepers then.

Does anyone have the piano music for Ballad of Jack Noir? I'm talking about the one with the vocals Radiation recorded.
This post is filed before a live studio audience.
I don't know if it exists anywhere already or not, but sheet music for The La2t Frontier would be awesome! :33
Alright, here's Terezi's theme from the recent flash.

I'm working on a few more things too.
Wow geez, you say you're honored, that's a new one for me I guess. <.<
....actually it's a bit weird, cause I don't deserve to have people feeling hono--BAD JIT, STOP SELF-DEPRECATING
Yeah that's fine, as long as you credit me or link to the song or something. Also if you could send me a link or something, I'd love to see it once it's posted, as well.![]()
This thread finally got me to register, so I can help out with the sheet music.
I spent a few hours working through Liquid Negrocity in preparation for Black, a way harder song if only because of that sick tempo after a while. The pages include piano (both hands), saxophone (alto tuning), clarinet (Bb tuning), and upright bass. (That synth noise is practically the same as the piano chords, if anyone is wondering.) If the number of pages are bothersome, I can load them by part and paste 'em individually.
(Warning: eleven pages.)
Keep an eye out for 8va, it's only indicated in the clef (MuseScore CAN do the typical line, but I couldn't figure out an easy way to keep it together over five pages). As it is, there's only one change at page six in the right-hand piano, and it stays that way for the rest of the song. The tempo is approximate, not exact.
I'm pretty certain about a lot of the parts, and hopefully that buildup at the end is solid. There's an Ab in the bass at seventh measure, fourth beat that I simply can't hear in the song, but it suits the progression. The only other thing that may have some here-and-there problems is the piano solo in the middle, but please let me know if there are any slip-ups, obvious or not. (Speaking of that part, I suggest playing the alternating right-hand notes with both hands, moving the left hand up there immediately after playing the chord.)
Here it is in .pdf format using MediaFire. If anyone has a better way to host it ('cause I know how annoying these downloading hubs can be) I'm perfectly fine with them picking it up. Again, if anyone would like pages for a specific instrument instead, let me know.
Also, because the saxophone/clarinet parts are using different clefs, trying to play them directly on a piano is gonna sound really weird. Alto saxophone uses A0 and Bb clarinet uses Bb0, respectively, as their "middle C". If you want a version that reads everything the same, again, let me know. Technically (and it's barely audible) there's either a tenor or bass saxophone near the end harmonizing with the others, but I decided to leave it out ('cause I didn't want to add a whole set of lines for like, eight measures). If anyone cares about it that much, it's roughly the same as the other harmony, just two (three?) octaves lower. I'll be editting the other post with this information, too.
I'm going to try to work on some other non-Black songs (for now) that have been requested on the hopes that I can get them done sooner. As far as I can tell, however, a LOT of Black comes from Liquid Negrocity and the biggest differences are the tempo changes and the loads of extra harmonies, so if you're itching to learn it then start with this song.
I'm a guy, you're good. These days I feel like more that other thing than I do a man or a woman though, heh.Originally Posted by SenorEverClever

Awesome transcription by the way. I started trying to make a MIDI from it, but I don't know how well it'll turn out (or if I'll even finish it with all my irons in the fire). OpenMPT is a bitch to use when working from sheet music with a lot of flats (since it displays everything in terms of sharps).
