Thanks so much! That really means a lot to me. I feel like my interval recognition is actually improving as a result of all this transcription. I tried figuring Three in the Morning out a while back and I couldn't for the life of me get it, but (apparently) I did a much better job this time, so... yay for me i guess

I might be wrong to be saying this, but I'm of the opinion that any MSPA-themed musical contribution belongs in this thread. At the very least, those of us transcribing will get another pair of ears and eyes to catch mistakes.

Nice job with the midi, although I noticed a minor mistake in the very beginning with the E natural when you go up an octave. It's supposed to be an E flat, exactly one octave above the previous note.

Actually, it's a D, the suggested chord being C minor with a major ninth and a flat fifth (tritone). musicnerdsunite

Well, I thought the beginning sounded off, although I thought it was because I was thinking of Black instead of Liquid Negrocity. I'll have to take a look at that.

Well, apologies all. I get the feeling that you were asking for the piano part to Knives and Irony, and I managed to get everything -except- the piano part. Bass, sax and clarinet (with blank piano staff above them) are here. Enjoy, all; I'll keep working on that piano part. (Any help anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated-- hint hint )

Also to reiterate (sorry if I'm being a pain in the ass): would it be possible to get a list of all transcribed songs in the OP? I'm not particularly savvy with this whole forumanipulation deal; I don't know who to ask or where to take the request.

Well, I believe 9hao would have to update it himself, and he doesn't seem to have been active since '09.

Although if you get an admin on it, they might be able to update it if someone provides them with the bbcode.

FYI, I've been toiling literally all day and - thus far - all night, on a SBurban Jungle on Noteflight. It's coming along quite nicely, and I'm already mostly done with it, save a few bits I can't quite make out well enough to flesh out completely.

Much thanks to orngjce223 for showing me some of the sections I hadn't worked out already, and to the guy (I forget your name :P) who posted the sheets for the piano section. I've had to tweak a few bits of it where it didn't quite match up, but I'd never have gotten this far without those sheets. :3

I keep listening to it and picking out the tiny little details that aren't picture-perfect - if you don't mind, Goatmon, I'll see if I can get that piano solo near the end (the scene in which Rose falls down in slow motion).

I am a perfectionist when it comes to transcriptions. Something that I've listened to so much as I did Homestuck music, I can pick out these things from memory and from ear.

Awesome. I just went through it once, and it seems pretty tough (three-against-two timing with 32nd notes aaaaaargh), but accurate enough. The only issue I can see is the one part where the left hand shifts up into the treble clef with the melody, since the two hands overlap somewhat. I'd prefer to play either the right hand up an octave or the left hand down one, but it's definitely doable the way it's written now.

I can't wait to see what else you upload, your work so far has been really top-notch!

It's a mash up of "Suburban Jungle", "Upward Movement", and "Beatdown", I believe.

On a related subject, are the little piano chords at the very end (with the shot of the meteor over Jade's house with Bec) something original for the piece? Because they also pop up during the part that you're asking about, and I don't know if they're from a different song or not.
