    Pictionary

Let's try a new forum game. Go here to obtain a random word and then try to convey that word in a single drawing. First person to guess it goes next. No alphanumerics unless they are incidental to the clue. Rebuses including + and - signs are acceptable. Try to use the first word you get: the harder it is the more fun it will be. I'll start us off.

Hint: solve inside the parenthesis first.

    Interfaces.

Will draw something in a lil' bit.

    Ohhhh... winter.

I have absolutely no idea what that last bit is and it will drive me mad if I spend another 5 minutes on it.

    hahah that was awesome.

I like how you had to use math to solve your pictionary. (BEDMAS)

Ambiguity? I think you have an extra 'e' in the first parenthesis.

  8. #8
    Close.

The subtraction in the first parentheses is phonetic. Heart - art-sound, equals h-sound. This phonetic subtraction precedent is furthered by the second set of parentheses.

    Is it Ambiguities?

    Yes, proceed.

Big dude - (Hey Dude - Hay)= Big

Hey dude was a show on Nickelodean about a dude ranch.

  14. #14
    They were from this show.

Even if you weren't familiar with the show, you had to subtract something from Big Dude, and that thing first had to have "hay" (hey) subtracted from it. So it was either going to be Hey Big or Hey Dude.

PS where is Speedknight with his puzzle???

I'm impressed that apparently everyone but me remembers the colour code to the names of those ducks.

I guessing people in America wouldn't be as cool with them being able to be acronym'd as "KKK".

I think people were more going off the order in which they're named. huey louie and duey.. I suddenly don't know how they're spelled.

I totally won by copying off of Tynic!

I hope this is worthy of you, my favorite crib sheet, Tynic.

EDIT: I don't really think the math on that fraction works, but hopefully you'll get it.

I'm pretty sure I see what you were trying to do there, but you lose points for using alphanumerics.

    Justification.

Your fraction doesn't make a whit of sense.

I have no idea how to reduce demon over lemon to just "L". Anyone care to explain how it could be done?

PS Tynic, you are correct, the board is yours.

PPS I thought this use of alphanumerics might be borderline acceptable.

  23. #23
Lemon and demon reduce to L/D. Times L/1 is L*L/D. I think you might have meant D/1, which would have left just L.

  24. #24
I think that's what I meant too. Thanks Betel!
